His research mainly applies simulation-based research approaches to questions in the context of management science. His doctoral thesis focused on noisy information within cost accounting systems. Recent work is concerned with rendering neoclassical models into (multi-agent) simulation models. This approach lies in the core of the methodology applied in the proposed research project.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Project members<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Friederike Wall<\/strong> (for details see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aau.at\/team\/wall-friederike\/\">here<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background has-very-light-gray-background-color\">Friederike Wall is affiliated to the Universit\u00e4t Klagenfurt where, since April 2009, she is Full Professor and Head of the Department of Management Control and Strategic Management. She received the \u201c<g class=\"gr_ gr_9 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace\" id=\"9\" data-gr-id=\"9\">venia<\/g> <g class=\"gr_ gr_10 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace\" id=\"10\" data-gr-id=\"10\">legendi<\/g>\u201d (Habilitation for Business Economics) from the Universit\u00e4t Hamburg and <g class=\"gr_ gr_13 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear ContextualSpelling multiReplace\" id=\"13\" data-gr-id=\"13\">afterwards<\/g> became Full Professor of Business Administration, esp. Controlling and Information Management at the Universit\u00e4t Witten\/Herdecke, Germany. Her scientific work is focused on distributed decision-making, management control systems and the quality of the information provided by these systems. Her main research approach is defined by agent-based simulation methods and agent-based technologies. Most recently she works on the emergence of multiple controls (composed of, for example, performance metrics, incentive schemes, coordination mechanisms) in different contexts and based on behavioral assumptions that go beyond the ideas of the representative agent as often captured in economics.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Patrick Reinwald<\/strong> (for details see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aau.at\/team\/reinwald-patrick\/\">here<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background has-very-light-gray-background-color\">Patrick Reinwald is a doctoral student in the field of social science and economics at the university of Klagenfurt.
